Main duties of the job
The Glades supports adults living with learning disability, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, dementia and challenging behaviour.
As a qualified Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and focused care. This is a highly skilled role which requires a range of clinical and nursing skills. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing specialist, person centred nursing care to adults with learning disabilities, physical disability and challenging behaviour in a home-based setting.
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans tailored to each person's communication, sensory and behavioural needs
Supporting and mentoring colleagues, contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture
Observing, recording and reporting changes in mental, physical or behavioural health
Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards
Promoting a safe, therapeutic environment that supports stabilisation, communication, engagement and recovery
Skills / Qualifications:
- • A relevant nursing qualification (RGN/RNLD/RMN)
- • NMC registration
