The home

Charnwood Lodge is a warm, welcoming and friendly home that has some very special features. We have six living areas to relax in and enjoy company, including television rooms and lounges as well as our large downstairs area with a library, internet room and cafe to enjoy visits from relatives and friends.

All our residents have their own comfortable and spacious en-suite bedroom, which can be personalise to their individual tastes. We also welcome couples into the home.

We have beautiful sensory gardens, so residents can enjoy relaxation and activity outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, offices, and other designated areas.

·  Dust, vacuum, mop, polish, and sanitize surfaces according to cleaning schedules.

·  Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely.

·  Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and hygiene products as required.

·  Follow infection prevention and control procedures.

·  Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged equipment to management.

·  Assist with laundry duties when required, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing residents' clothing and linen.

·  Ensure cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.

·  Maintain accurate cleaning records where required.

·  Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and personal belongings at all times.

·  Work collaboratively with care staff and other departments
