PASSION FOR CARE The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) is one of the
largest not for profit care providers in the UK, delivering excellent
specialist nursing and residential care tailored to meet our 4,000
residents’ individual needs across four counties. An exciting new
opportunity has arisen for a Peripatetic Manager to support business
priorities across OSJCT care home sites in the East Region. Reporting
into the Assistant Operations Director, you will be a key role in
supporting existing homes achieve a quality operation, meeting KPI's and
ensuring quality care is delivered to our residents. A professional and
dedicated Peri Manager is pivotal to the successful running of any of
our homes across the county. A Peri Manager is responsible for our
ensuring the residents receive the highest standards of care whilst
maintaining the commercial viability of the home that they manage. You
will lead both the support and care teams to the highest level to strive
for excellence in all areas of the service provision. As Peri Manager
you will live by the Trust values, and act in compliance with all
relevant legislation. You will maintain a strong relationship with CQC.
With your passion for the job that you do you will have the ability to
provide care that is second to none for residents and help motivate and
develop your team. The Peripatetic Manager will be expected to support
any home within the region and be flexible in terms of travel. You will
be managed by the Assistant Director of Operations but will report to
the Operations Manager of the service you are supporting at any given
time.. You will also support and mentor both new managers and managers
who are experiencing operational issues. You may also be asked to assist
with specific projects within in homes as the arise. In addition to the
above the Peripatetic Manager will also be required to support with: *
Monthly operations visits * Audits * Investigations * Disciplinary
Hearings * Quality Control and Management * Supporting the development
of new services * Supporting the opening of new homes You will have:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent
(or working towards). Minimum 3 years working at supervisory level in
relevant environment such as Home Manager or Operational Role.
