Crown Care Group are pleased to announce the following Concierge Role vacancy at Goldsborough Manor, Strensall, York.

Goldsborough Manor, is a Luxurious Care Home situated in the quiet village location of Strensall, York.

This stunningly beautiful 62 bed care home provides high-quality person-centred care to residents who require residential and dementia care. If you want to work with a committed and dynamic team in a fulfilling and rewarding care home, then this is the job for you.

You will ideally have experience within a care home setting and be confident around service users with dementia,

The Role

As a Concierge, you'll will support the day to day running of the home. You will coordinate resident requests and liaise with external service providers. Provide information and assistance to visitors and residents regarding local amenities and services. Assist with the smooth running of social events and activities within the care home.

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Welcoming Visitors: Answer the front door promptly, greet all visitors warmly, and act as an ambassador for Goldsborough Manor, ensuring guests feel valued from arrival.

·  Resident Support: Assist residents with practical daily tasks such as online shopping, arranging dry cleaning, and other errands as required.

·  Visitor Management: Handle resident families, healthcare professionals, and other guests professionally. Answer incoming phone calls, take clear messages, and ensure queries are addressed efficiently.

·  Show Rounds and Meetings: Support show rounds for prospective residents and their families, providing information and guidance. Organise daily flash meetings and cover manager walk rounds at weekends, ensuring communication between staff and management is maintained.

·  Support to Management: Assist the Home Manager and Deputy in selling care packages and promoting the services of the care home. Carry out paperwork duties and maintain front of house due diligence records to support compliance and smooth operations.

·  Public Area Maintenance: Maintain a sparkling, inviting atmosphere in all public areas, including arranging fresh flowers and upholding high presentation standards.

·  Duty of Care and Security: Uphold the highest standards of safety, security, and compliance, ensuring the well-being of residents, visitors, and staff. Monitor and control access to the premises, maintaining appropriate records.

·  Confidentiality: To ensure that the company policy is followed and we are full compliant with GDPR process (Sharing information)

·  Professional: To promote and display a professional image commensurate with the high standards of Crown Care Group.

·  Statement of purpose: In conjunction with the wider care team to adhere to the Homes Philosophy, goals and statement of purpose.

·  Greeting: To show world class hosting skills by offering visitors and guests refreshments.

·  Ambience: Ensure appropriate music is being played at all times (Appropriate music, back ground to suite the environment)

·  Special Events: Help with special events, when requested.
