Ty Coch Nursing Home in Cardiff is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Cleaner to support our catering team in delivering great food and a spotless kitchen for our residents.
Working under the guidance of our Chef, you'll help prepare and serve meals, maintain high standards of hygiene, and play a key part in mealtimes residents look forward to.
What you'll do:
- Prepare food items as directed by the Chef
- Assist with serving meals in a timely, person-centred way
- Follow cleaning schedules and food hygiene standards
- Understand and respect individuals' dietary and allergen needs
- Help maintain stock levels and report any equipment issues
What we're looking for:
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred
- A clean, hygienic and reliable approach to work
- A team player with good communication skills
Hours: 5 days over a 7-day period, as agreed with the manager
Pay: £13.45 per hour
