Contract: Full Time or Part Time- Perm
Hour: 35 hours per week
Pay: £13.47 per hour weekdays & £14.47 per hour weekends
Shift Times: 9.30pm to 7.30am – Weekdays and alternative Weekends

We are seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our modern, purpose-built Care Home Dukeminster Court in Dunstable. Dukeminster Court is a modern and friendly 75 bed residential home based in the heart of Dunstable, where dedicated teams provide exceptional person-centred care in a warm, supportive and rewarding environment.
As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.
What You’ll Bring
- You’ll be naturally compassionate and patient, it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
- You’ll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
- Training will be provided.
- A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
- You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
- Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence
- Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues
- Follow individual personalised care plans
- Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person- centred care
- Ensuring residents are safe and comfortable through the night.
