Radway Lodge is a well-established residential home with a strong local reputation for warm, person-centred care. We are seeking an experienced, values-driven Registered Manager to lead our home, inspire our team, and ensure exceptional outcomes for residents and families.

About the Role

You will take overall responsibility for the leadership, performance, and regulatory compliance of Radway Lodge. You will be accountable for care quality, occupancy, team culture, and CQC standards.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the home to achieve Good or Outstanding CQC outcomes, maintaining robust governance and quality assurance systems.
  • Provide leadership that motivates staff and supports professional development.
  • Ensure safe, high quality personalised care to residents and excellent communication with families and external professionals.
  • Drive occupancy, community reputation, and positive relationships with commissioners.
  • Oversee budgets, staffing, recruitment, and rota management.
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and accountability.
  • Uphold Radway Lodge’s commitment to accessible information, inclusive practice, and sensory-aware communication.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Current or previous CQC Registered Manager status preferred but not compulsory
  • Strong experience in residential care for older adults
  • Proven ability to lead teams to deliver high quality person centred care
  • Confidence managing audits and operational performance
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Evidence you are ‘fit’ to manage regulated activity
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations safeguarding MCA/DoLS and quality frameworks.
