Contract: Part Time - Perm

Hour: 26 hours per week

Pay: £12.71 per hour weekdays & £13.21 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 9am to 5pm – Weekday and alternative Weekends

Location: Anson Court, Shackleton Way, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 2FF

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our welcoming Care Home Anson Court based in Welwyn Garden City. Anson Court is a 75 bed residential care home which is welcoming, values driven based team where collaboration, compassion, respect and person-centred care is at the heart of everything they do.

As a Catering Assistant you will support the preparation and serving of nutritious meals, and help create a welcoming dining experience that promotes residents health, wellbeing and dignity.

What You’ll Bring

• A team?focused attitude and good communication skills
• Experience in food preparation and service preferred, however full training is provided
• Familiarity with hygiene standards
• Reliability and good Customer Service skills
• A positive, caring and compassionate attitude
• Ability to follow Chefs

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Preparation and serving of meals
• Assisting residents with dining needs where required
• Follow high standards of food hygiene and health & safety
• Support the kitchen team with cleaning and washing duties
• Supporting with stock and storage
• Follow any other task requirements from the Chefs
