Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shift Patterns:

• Day Shift: 8:00am – 8:00pm
• Night Shift: 8:00pm – 8:00am

Lombrand Residential Home is looking for compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Bank Support Workers to join our dedicated team. We provide 24-hour residential support for 17 adults with a range of mental health conditions, helping each resident to live as independently as possible while maintaining their dignity, choice, and wellbeing.

About the Role

As a Bank Support Worker, you will play an essential role in supporting residents with their daily lives, promoting independence, encouraging social inclusion, and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and homely environment.

No two days are the same, and you will work closely with colleagues to provide person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Providing high-quality, person-centred support to residents with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Building positive, professional relationships with residents, encouraging independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
• Supporting residents with daily living skills and promoting choice and dignity at all times.
• Planning, organising, and participating in meaningful activities to encourage engagement, social interaction, and personal development.
• Administering medication safely and accurately in line with company policies and procedures (full medication training provided).
• Completing accurate daily records, reports, and documentation.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment by carrying out general housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Preparing and cooking simple meals when required, ensuring dietary needs and food hygiene standards are met.
• Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns promptly to senior staff.
• Supporting residents during appointments, outings, or recreational activities where required.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and excellent communication across all shifts.
• Following safeguarding procedures, health and safety policies, and all relevant care standards.

Previous experience in health and social care is desirable but not essential, as full induction and comprehensive training will be provided.
