Senior Carer

Kensington, in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, is looking for a full-time Senior Carer.

£14.10 per hour.

No sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise care staff to deliver outstanding care in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and medication management
• Develop, review, and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with residents and healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or concerns
• Support residents’ emotional well-being through empathetic communication and companionship
• Organise activities that promote social engagement and mental stimulation
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care
• Drive the organisation’s values by demonstrating leadership and fostering a positive environment

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience within a senior care or care home environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
• Experience in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Competent IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Knowledge of senior care practices, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation is essential
