Crown Care Group is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Night Care Assistants to join our team. If you are passionate about providing outstanding person-centred care and making a real difference to people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Night Care Assistant, you will support residents throughout the night, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, respected, and cared for while promoting their independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities

As part of our dedicated night team, you will:

  • Provide high-quality personal care tailored to each resident's individual needs.
  • Support residents with mobility, continence care, personal hygiene, dressing, and the use of mobility aids.
  • Carry out regular welfare checks and respond promptly to emergency call bells.
  • Monitor residents' physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, reporting any concerns to the Senior Care Assistant or Registered Nurse.
  • Maintain accurate care records and complete all required documentation.
  • Assist with repositioning residents and providing end-of-life care where appropriate.
  • Prepare residents for bedtime and support them throughout the night.
  • Make beds, tidy bedrooms, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver safe, effective, responsive, and compassionate care.
  • Promote residents' dignity, privacy, independence, and choice at all times.
  • Welcome and communicate professionally with residents, relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • To hold (or working towards) NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Caring, compassionate, patient, and respectful.
  • Friendly, approachable, and honest.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding care and customer service.
  • Able to maintain accurate written records and follow care plans.
  • Committed to ongoing learning and development.

Experience in care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Applicants working towards or willing to complete an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care are encouraged to apply.
