Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and other facilities.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to a high standard.
- Change bed linen and assist with laundry duties as required.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries.
- Dispose of waste safely and in accordance with infection control procedures.
- Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
- Follow all health and safety and infection prevention policies.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Good communication skills.
- Compassion, patience, and resilience when working in a nursing home environment.

Our nursing home supports residents with a range of
complex physical, cognitive, and behavioural needs,
including those living with dementia. At times, residents may display
behaviours that can be challenging, so applicants should be patient,
respectful, and comfortable working in this environment while
maintaining residents' dignity and wellbeing.
