Senior Care and Manager Support

We are recruiting at Kingfisher Court Residential Home with an opportunity to join our team working as a Support Manager and Senior Care Assistant.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to support both residents and colleagues, while working closely with our Registered Manager.

The role involves overseeing care delivery, allocating tasks, and helping to maintain high standards of care within a supportive and welcoming environment. You will also support the Registered Manager with audits, supervisions, pre-admission assessments, care planning, and on-call duties.

This is a full-time position. Working hours will include Senior Care Assistant shifts (07:45–20:00) and supernumerary hours to support the Registered Manager (example 09:00–17:00). These arrangements will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
• Location: Clifton, Nottingham, NG11
• Required: NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or working towards
• We are unable to offer sponsorship

Further Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and support the care team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care
• Develop, review, and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and nutrition
• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the care environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families to keep them informed about their loved ones’ wellbeing
