What if your job wasn’t just about keeping a home clean… but about helping someone feel truly at home?

At Peninsula Care Homes, we don’t believe moving into care should mean a smaller life. We believe it should mean a richer one. And that only happens because of people like you.

A rich life isn’t just measured in tasks completed or charts updated. It’s created in the details:
the warm glow of a freshly cleaned room, the scent of polish on a favourite piece of furniture, the joy of a tidy space, or the dignity that comes from living in a place that feels cared for - thoughtfully, attentively, lovingly.

As a Domestic Assistant at Bramble Down, you won’t just be keeping rooms clean - you’ll be helping shape an environment where meaningful days can happen.

We call it our Rich Life Framework - but really, it’s a promise: that every person who lives with us deserves a home where they feel safe, respected and valued. A home that reflects who they are.

We start with one simple question: “What helps this person feel most at home?” And as a team, we make it happen.

For some residents, that might mean ensuring the cushions are arranged just the way they like them. For others, it’s making sure their favourite blanket is always nearby, their room feels bright and fresh, or their cherished belongings take pride of place.

As health needs change, we adapt- not to limit life, but to make it easier, calmer, and more comfortable. Because the right environment doesn’t just support life - it enriches it.

This role is about working with people, not just around them.

Respecting their choices. Protecting their dignity. Helping them continue to live in a place that feels truly theirs.

And at the end of every shift, we hope our teams ask themselves: “Did I help someone feel more at home today?

If that question matters to you - you’ll belong here.

Our CARE values (Committed. Ambitious. Responsible. Embracing) are not just words. They shape how we treat residents, families, and each other. You’ll be part of a team that supports one another, celebrates small victories, and takes pride in making a real difference.

What we offer:

  • A role where you’ll see the difference you make every single day.
  • Fully paid training plus excellent opportunities to grow and progress.
  • A caring induction with your own mentor to help you settle in confidently.
  • Free DBS check and auto-enrolment into our pension scheme.
  • Flex Earn - see and access your earned wages before payday.
  • Eligibility for the Blue Light Card, giving you discounts across shops, restaurants and more.
  • Free meals when you’re working long shifts.
  • Access to a Peninsula Care Homes Mental Health First Aider, an external confidential helpline for you and your family, the ‘Whycare?’ app, and a Refer a Friend scheme (earning you money for bringing your friends on board)

This isn’t cleaning as usual. It’s care with heart. Care with purpose. Care that enriches life - every single day.

If you’re kind, thoughtful, and want to be part of something special, we would love to hear from you. To find out more about joining our team, please contact:
