With 60 spacious bedrooms, en suite facilities and landscaped gardens, the home offers a comfortable and welcoming environment. The team focuses on person centred care, supporting residents to maintain their independence and enjoy an active lifestyle.

Domestic Assistant Contract

•  £13.45- £13.95 per hour
•  Contracted to 24.5 hours per week
•  3 on 3 off rolling rota
•  Paid [PVG/DBS], pension, uniform provided
•  5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life.

You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.

•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•  Good communication skills
•  Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial
•  Previous experience is welcomed but not essential
