Job Summary
As a head cook you be be responsible for leading the catering team in delivering high-quality, nutrious and appetising meals whilst managing budget, stock levels and health and safety standards. You will be expected to create specialised, varied menus tailored to our resident's dietry needs and personal preferences, fostering a pleasant dining experience whilst ensuring compliance with nutritional standards and hygiene regulations.
Skills / Qualifications
- Experience - previous experience as a head chef or sous chef ideally in a care home healthcare or hospitality setting
- Knowledge- strong understanding of nutrition for the elderly
- food hygiene and dietary needs
- strong communication leadership and budgetary skills
