Our 72-bed home provides nursing, residential and dementia care. The current Home Manager is moving to another Care Concern Group home to lead its commissioning journey, creating an opportunity for someone who can provide continuity and take Willows forward.

With a significant refurbishment programme planned, you will manage change carefully, strengthen the leadership team and ensure residents and families continue to feel confident in their care.

The Role

You will lead the day-to-day operation of Willows, maintaining care quality and commercial performance while supporting the team through the home’s next stage. Working closely with the Deputy Manager, you will recognise what works well, set clear expectations and help colleagues develop.

  • Maintain strong care standards, effective governance and compliance with CQC requirements.
  • Coach the Deputy Manager and wider team, developing capability and future leaders.
  • Lead the planned refurbishment, managing change and minimising disruption to residents.
  • Maintain high occupancy through quality care and trusted relationships with families and community partners.
  • Manage budgets and workforce planning, sustaining the home’s zero-agency workforce.
  • Build a positive team culture through visible leadership, consistent communication and support.

About You

You will be an experienced Home Manager with a record of developing motivated teams and delivering high-quality care. You will bring a sound understanding of CQC requirements and the judgement to maintain standards within a nursing, residential and dementia service.

Strong commercial awareness is essential, including occupancy, budgets and workforce planning. You will be confident leading projects and managing change, with the ability to remain calm and make considered decisions under pressure.

We are looking for an approachable, visible leader who listens, builds trust and supports colleagues to succeed. You understand the value of continuity and know how to introduce improvements while bringing the team with you.

Why Lead Willows

Willows gives its next Home Manager the chance to build on a home with high occupancy, a stable workforce and a Good CQC rating. You will have the time and space to understand the service, develop your Deputy Manager and strengthen the relationships that underpin its success.

The planned refurbishment adds an opportunity to improve the home’s environment and residents’ experience. Your contribution will be visible in a confident team, sustained standards and a well-managed programme of change, with opportunities to progress within Care Concern Group.
