House keeping assistant

As part of our housekeeping team, you will play an important role in keeping Bricklehampton Hall clean, comfortable and welcoming for our residents, their families, visitors and staff.

Working in a nursing home is about much more than cleaning. Your work helps create an environment where our residents can feel comfortable, safe and at home.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the Hall, including residents’ bedrooms, communal areas, offices and facilities.

What you will be doing

• Cleaning and maintaining residents’ bedrooms, communal areas, offices and restrooms
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces
• Keeping floors, windows, furniture and fixtures clean and well presented
• Ensuring cleaning and hygiene standards are consistently maintained
• Restocking essentials such as hand soap, paper towels and cleaning supplies
• Emptying bins and following our waste and recycling procedures
• Carrying out routine checks and responding to areas that need additional attention
• Following health and safety and infection-control procedures
• Helping with occasional deep cleans and other housekeeping projects
• Working as part of our wider team to help make Bricklehampton Hall a welcoming place to live and work
