Job Summary
Regional Support Manager (Elderly Care)
Location: Brighton head office, with travel across our Sussex and Hampshire care homes
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + (DOE)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Closing date: 28th October 2026
As our Regional Support Manager, you'll go into our elderly care homes, find what isn't working and fix it alongside the Registered Manager. You'll work across five homes – four residential and one nursing.
It's a hands-on role for an experienced Regional Support Manager, Area Manager or multi-site Registered Manager who wants to support Managers and staff to make a real difference to the lives of our residents.
Why this role
• You'll be line managed by our Director of Elderly Care, and deployed by her to where you're needed most.
• Every week is different: audits, care governance, resident experience, staffing and marketing support.
What you'll be doing
• Auditing homes against CQC standards, then working with the team to ensure we deliver the highest standards of care and strive for outstanding in every setting. Checking care plans, risk assessments, handovers and flash meetings are working
• Making sure residents receive person-centred care, with their dignity, choice and wellbeing maintained
• Monitoring vacancies, agency use, staffing levels, training and staff performance
• Deputising Registered Manager for defined periods
• Supporting marketing, and carrying out pre-admission assessments and show rounds when covering a home
What you'll need
? At least 5 years as a Registered Manager in elderly care, plus 1–2 years as a Regional Support Manager or in a similar multi-site role
? Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent), and able to register with CQC
? Evidence of fixing issues through audits and service improvement plans, not just finding them
? A full UK driving license and your own car.

Skills / Qualifications
- At least 5 years as a Registered Manager in elderly care
- plus 1–2 years as a Regional Support Manager or in a similar multi-site role
