Job Summary
Grange Cottage Care Home in Sutton is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and creative Weekend Activities Coordinator to join our team.
We are seeking someone who enjoys engaging with older people, encouraging social interaction and creating meaningful, enjoyable experiences for our residents. The successful candidate will help ensure that our residents have a varied programme of activities that supports their interests, independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Working days: Saturday to Monday
Working hours: 9:30 am – 3:00 pm(Hours will be negotiable)
Position: Part-Time
Skills / Qualifications
- 1. Wide range of practical and creative skills e.g. arts
- crafts
- first aid training. 2. Proven ability to develop and organise a range of events/ activities for service users 3. Good communication and organisational skills 4. Team player 5. Ability to work on own initiative 6. Friendly
- creative and confident 7. Genuine interest in working with the relevant service user group 8. DBS check 9. Previous experience of working with the relevant service user group 10. Qualification in remedial/ occupational therapies 11. Flexible approach towards working routines
