Care Concern Group is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a proactive, motivated Recruitment Advisor to help our care homes across East Scotland attract exceptional people and build strong, successful teams.

This is more than a traditional recruitment role. You will become the dedicated recruitment specialist for your region, working closely with Regional Directors and Home Managers to understand their needs, overcome recruitment challenges and develop creative ways to attract great people.

If you enjoy taking ownership, building relationships and getting out into the community to make things happen, this is an opportunity to make a real difference while developing your career within a growing care organisation.

Contract Details

  • Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum & discretionary bonus
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Location: Home based with regular travel across East Scotland
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave
  • Pension scheme

About the Role

As Recruitment Advisor, you will take ownership of recruitment across your region, supporting care homes throughout Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife, Angus, Dundee, Aberdeen and surrounding areas.

You will take a proactive, hands on approach to recruitment, from attracting candidates and managing vacancies to supporting interviews and developing local recruitment initiatives. Regular visits to care homes will help you build trusted relationships, understand staffing priorities and provide practical support where it is needed most.

With agency usage across Care Concern Group currently below 2%, you will play an important role in maintaining this performance by supporting homes experiencing recruitment challenges and developing targeted strategies to reduce reliance on temporary staff.

You will have the freedom to manage your region, introduce new ideas and take ownership of delivering results, while being supported by an experienced and collaborative recruitment team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Proactively sourcing and attracting candidates through job boards, social media and local recruitment initiatives.
  • Creating engaging job adverts, managing vacancies and monitoring their performance.
  • Screening and shortlisting candidates, conducting initial interviews and supporting Home Managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Building strong working relationships with Regional Directors and Home Managers through regular communication and care home visits.
  • Identifying recruitment challenges and implementing targeted activity to support homes with high agency usage.
  • Organising and attending recruitment open days, careers fairs and community events.
  • Developing partnerships with Jobcentres, colleges and local organisations to strengthen candidate pipelines.
  • Monitoring recruitment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing regular updates to operational teams.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, confident and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for people and recruitment.

You will enjoy working independently, building relationships and finding practical solutions. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, taking initiative and adapting your approach to meet the needs of different care homes.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience within the care sector, whether in recruitment, administration, care delivery or operations.
  • Strong communication, organisational and relationship building skills.
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to work independently and take ownership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across West Scotland.

Previous recruitment experience would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with relevant care sector experience and transferable skills.

Above all, you will share our values:
Trust | Respect | Passion | Kindness | Inclusivity

Why Join Care Concern Group?

You will be joining a supportive and ambitious recruitment team during an exciting period of continued growth.

This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact, develop strong relationships across the organisation and bring your own ideas to life. You will have the independence to shape recruitment activity within your region, with the support of colleagues who share your commitment to finding great people.

Your initiative will be encouraged, your contribution recognised and your success celebrated.

Our Recruitment Process

We want to make the recruitment process straightforward and give you the opportunity to learn more about the role and our team.

  • Application Closing Date: Friday 13 November 2026
  • Initial Telephone Conversation: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an initial telephone conversation to discuss their experience and the opportunity.
