Hymn singing

We have launched our new set up for hymn singing.

Every Thursday afternoon, Millaton dining room will be transformed into a place for spiritual reflection where residents can meet.

We have listened to what residents would like to do, so we have set up a space that provides peace and tranquillity for residents, relatives and staff.

There is a book of remembrance for anyone to write a message in, books to provide inspirational reading, a crucifix and we are just waiting for candles to go with it.

Ruth Dymond came to sing hymns and gospel with us. She even played the organ for the first time in a very long time.

We hope to be supported by the local church and chapel in the near future and are pleased to be able to develop spiritual support in a manner requested by residents.
