Gold Care Homes, situated in the London Borough of Hillingdon have been shortlisted in the 26th National Care Awards, in the medium care home group category.

The group, who are no stranger to industry awards having also had previous success at The Great British Care Awards, Care Home Awards and Dementia Care Awards to name a few, are thrilled with the news of this new accolade which will add to their impressive collection of awards nominations and wins.

The awards aim to recognise leaders in the industry in individual and group categories, with this category recognising a care home group with between eight and forty care homes in their portfolio for outstanding care and staff development, as well as demonstrating impressive financial results.

The group, who operate 34 care and nursing homes across England, have previously been nominated individually with their care home Health Lodge in Welwyn, having scooped the title of ‘Best Dining Experience’ in last year’s awards.

Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, Sukhi Gidar said, “I am incredibly proud of the Gold Care family for yet another plaudit in our growing collection. It is a testament to their hard work and commitment. Well done everyone and thank you for your continued efforts and for all you do to bring joy, happiness and fulfilment to the lives of the nearly 2000 residents we now care for.”

The group will find out if they have won the award later this year at the prestigious ceremony which will take place at the London Excel in November.
