Barchester’s Westvale House Care Home in Old Hall, got in the Christmas spirit by wrapping up warm and hopping aboard the minibus to visit Bents Garden Centre in Warrington.
Residents and staff were joined by family and friends and had a brilliant time going up and down the isles taking in all the spectacular themed displays, choosing their favourite decorations and there was even a little surprise when they bumped into Santa along the way!
Activities Co-ordinator Joanne Sherwood, who accompanied Residents on the visit said: “We absolutely love being able to take our Residents out and about, Bents was an easy choice for us, it just has everything! It has been a fantastic day and we’ve all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.”
Tom, Resident at Westvale House Care Home said: “We have all had the most wonderful time visiting Bents – it is amazing how big the place is! So much hard work must go in to creating it. It has made us all feel so Christmassy!”
