Hello, my name is Natalie and I am the Deputy Manager here at Westvale House.
I joined the Westvale team in March 2025, but I have been with Barchester since 2019 when I joined as a Registered Nurse at Cheshire Grange Care Home, this is where I progressed to become Head of Unit, then Acting Deputy Manager, before working across the region as Deputy Manager supporting multiple homes – this is where I fell in love with Westvale House, so when the permanent position became available for Deputy Manager, there was no question this is where I wanted to be.
I decided to become a nurse when my children were small and I was a carer, I quickly discovered I love working in care, looking after people makes me happy. Whether that be my family or patients in a hospital or residents in a care home, it gives my life meaning. As a nurse it can be the most challenging job but also the most rewarding job.
I am a true believer in team work and I value every member of staff. Each department cannot work well without the other. I aim to support the staff so they feel appreciated, educated and empowered to be able to their job to the best of their abilities and in doing so, we as a team can deliver the best care possible to our residents.
Hi, my name is Denise and I joined Westvale House as Home Administrator in August 2023.
It is my role to support the General Manager by maintaining the administration and financial systems within the home. I enjoy working as part of a company that values and is dedicated to its residents and their care. Every day is different from the last, and there's always something to look forward to.
You will always receive a warm welcome here at Westvale House - please come along and visit us, either to take a tour or to attend one of our events.
Hi, my name is Lesley and I'm Head Chef here at Westvale House.
I started working here in 2023, and absolutely love my job. My passion is cooking and baking, and trying new ideas, so I love that I get to explore and create new menus. Every day is different, and exploring the likes and wants of residents' food choices makes it so exciting. There's not a request we haven't had!
Outside of work, I love to walk my Boxer dog Cooper. I also like to read, going to darts and rugby tournaments, and visiting my children and grandchildren who live over in Ireland.
Hi, I'm Clement and I'm a Nurse here at Westvale House. I started here as a Care Home Assistant Practitioner in September 2022, and have since qualified and worked my way up to Nurse.
My role is to ensure all of our residents feel safe, secure and loved and that their families feel content in the knowledge their loved ones are being well cared for. As a team, we ensure we maintain a professional, relaxed and friendly environment, and we work hard to promote a homely atmosphere. I love working at Westvale House.
Hi, I'm Emma and I am a Nurse at Westvale House.
I qualified as a Nurse in 2022 and having worked as a carer for many years it was a natural progression for me and I love it. The best part of the job is the people, the Residents and the families you meet.
There is always something going on at Westvale House - which suits me down to the ground. It matches my life outside of work, where I enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking with my Husband and then what better way to end a day on the water than with a BBQ and a glass of fizz!
Hello, my name is Maria and I've been a Nurse here at Westvale House since 2016.
Being a nurse is a profession that never stops giving and everyday is different. Since I've been here for a number of years, I know the residents well and am able to care for them like they are family. I am proud to be a member of the Nurse team at Westvale House - please visit us at our events and to take a tour of our wonderful home.
Hi, I’m Aimee and I am the Activities Co-ordinator here at Westvale House.
My role is to support Residents well-being, to provide enriching and meaningful activities and promote independence and social engagement.
I joined the team in April 2025 and by far the best part of the role is getting to know our Residents and their families. They have many stories to share and understanding their individual needs enables me to plan and deliver a tailored activities program that captures and includes everyone in the home.
Prior to joining Westvale I worked in Forensic Mental Health and prior as a Community Support Worker and feel that along with my NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise not only to my role but to contribute to the Barchester whole home approach.
Outside of work, I enjoy regular trips to the cinema with my Fiancée, we adore our six cats and have plenty of cuddles and when time allows we get out and about for long walks.
Hi, I'm Pam and I am Head Housekeeper here at Westvale House.
I have worked at Westvale for a number of years and then took the position as Head Housekeeper in 2021. Me and my team strive to keep the home looking its best, and ensure residents' rooms are always clean and tidy. I work hard to make sure our home always meets Barchester's high standards and create a warm and friendly atmosphere for residents, families, team and visitors.
Outside of work I love spending time with my two horses and enjoying downtime with my family.
Hi, I'm Barry and I'm part of the Maintenance Team at Westvale House.
I joined the team in 2019 as a Kitchen Assistant, and in November 2023 moved over to Maintenance as this is where my passion is. I love being a helping hand in every corner of the home, and I'm always around for the team to rely on.
Most of all I love the interaction and variety my role provides, and I feel privileged to be able to make a difference in people’s lives by ensuring their home is maintained and presented to a high standard.
Hello, my name is Joy and I am a Senior Care Assistant at Westvale House.
I have worked here at Westvale House for the past 19 years and I have seen many changes, but what always remains the same is the level of high standard care which we deliver as a home to all our residents and the friendliness of the staff. I really do feel honoured to work here at Westvale House for Barchester.
Please visit us and see for yourself.
Outside work I enjoy shopping and dining out with friends and family and always ready for a sing-a-long at the karaoke.
Hi, I'm Jayne, and I am the Administration Assistant here at Westvale House.
I joined the team in January 2025 and I am the first person you will see when you walk into the home – you will always receive a warm and friendly welcome!
I support the front of house team in everyday admin tasks, reception duties, meeting and greeting family members, visitors, and professionals as they enter the building.
Outside of work I enjoy socialising with my friends, visiting coffee shop hotspots and dog walking.
I enjoy being part of the wonderful staff team at Westvale House and look forward to meeting you all when you visit.
