Burwood Grange Care Home Finalist for Prestigious Award

LOCAL CARE HOME IS FINALIST FOR PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL AWARDS

Barchester Healthcare’s stunning new care home, Burwood Grange, located in Walton-on-Thames, has been shortlisted for not one but two Design Healthcare Awards in the Best Exterior Design and Best Architectural Design categories. The home has been chosen out of hundreds of other entries from across the entire country. Burwood Grange is a beautiful property designed by talented architects, Harris Irwin. The home opened in March 2024 and offers bespoke person-centred residential, dementia and respite care in delightful surroundings for 64 residents. The primary aim of the design was to provide the most usable spaces for the residents both internally and externally. The home is designed to be fully accessible and many residential areas are provided with direct access to external gardens or generous terraces, while a first-floor bridge links the home to an upper level of gardens.
