Daneside Court residents enjoy an afternoon of live music

Residents at HC-One's Daneside Court care home, which offers residential and nursing care to up to 64 residents, were wowed by a live singing performance from the former Mayor of Leek.

Staff and residents at the purpose-built care welcomed in vocalist Rebecca Done, singing 40's, 50's and 60's classic songs.

Rebecca has led an interesting life, having not only been a former redocat but also served as Mayor of Leek in 2016, the youngest woman to have held the role. She put on a superb performance, described as good all round fun entertainment, especially for the ladies in the audience who were doing the hand jive with plenty of rhythm, hand moves and claps. It was a beautiful afternoon, with the music reaching out to all Daneside Court's residents.
