60th Wedding Anniversary Celebrations at Sharston House

A couple from Knutsford, Madeline and Peter Scott, recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary at Sharston House Care Home, which is part of the Kingsley Healthcare Group.

The couple, who are originally from Surrey, met at a young conservative dance and it was definitely love at first sight as they married 3 months later. The couple remember their wedding day as if it was yesterday. They married at St John’s Parish Church in Egham and their wonderful wedding reception held in the Anne Boleyn Hotel.

Madeline worked for many years as a Dental Nurse and Peter was an engineer. They have one son, Ashley and two grandchildren, Aaron who is 26 years old and Ellen who is 23 years old.

The couple moved to Knutsford over 46 years ago as a result of Peter’s job and have enjoyed a wonderful life living in the area. Peter moved into Sharston House due to poor heath but Madeline is a frequent visitor to the home to spend quality time with her beloved husband.
