Fundraising for Leon

At Ashfields Care Home we always support our Local Friends and Community.

This month we have enjoyed raising monies for a local lad Leon D'Souza. Leon lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. At events across July including Quiz and Chips, the Ashfields Summer Fete and our monthly Dementia Café we raised £386 and were so pleased when Leon came in person to accept the donation.

Hosting events for friends, family members and our local community to join us is an essential part of our activities program and raising monies for Leon makes all the efforts truly worthwhile.
