Residents and staff at Swan House were treated to something truly special this week - a visit from the adorable Gorefield Alpacas!
These gentle and curious creatures brought a wave of joy and calm to everyone they met. The alpacas spent time mingling in the garden, enjoying the fresh air and the company of residents who were delighted to stroke and feed them. But the fun didn’t stop there, a few of our furry guests decided to take their tour indoors!
Room by room, they trotted along the corridors, greeting residents with soft nuzzles, curious glances, and the occasional cheeky pose for photos. Laughter filled the home as each alpaca brought their own charm and personality to the visit spreading warmth, comfort, and plenty of smiles.
Pet therapy has always been a wonderful way to lift spirits, and this alpaca adventure was no exception. The residents loved every moment, and it’s safe to say these fluffy visitors stole the show and a few hearts too!
A huge thank you to Gorefield Alpacas for bringing such happiness and unforgettable memories to Swan House. We can’t wait for the next visit!
