Withens Nursing Home Delivers October Blue Light Breakfast to Swanscombe Surgery.

As part of its monthly Blue Light Breakfast initiative, Withens Nursing Home in Southfleet delivered a special breakfast hamper this October to the dedicated team at Swanscombe Surgery.

General Manager Gurpreet Vara and Chef Gareth visited the surgery to personally hand over the breakfast hamper and share their appreciation for everything the team does to support the local community. During their visit, they spoke with members of the reception team about the initiative and the ongoing collaboration between the two teams.

Swanscombe Surgery was chosen for this month’s drop-off in recognition of the exceptional support and care they provide. The surgery team maintains close communication with the nurses at Withens through regular emails and phone calls, ensuring residents’ health needs are always met promptly and effectively. The home also benefits from monthly in-person visits from Dr. Sinah, who takes the time to review all residents.

Gurpreet shared: “We’re so grateful for the continued support we receive from Swanscombe Surgery. Their hands-on approach and commitment to our residents make such a difference, and we wanted to say thank you in a small but meaningful way through our Blue Light Breakfast drop-off.”
