Eversfield Care Home Hosts a Sparkling Community Christmas Fayre

Eversfield Care Home in Reigate was buzzing with festive spirit on Saturday 6th December as residents, families and local neighbours gathered for a joyful Christmas Fayre filled with music, food and seasonal cheer. Eversfield offers residents an exceptional lifestyle all year round, with its stylish bar, cosy cinema, spacious en-suite bedrooms and beautifully landscaped gardens. The fayre showcased not only festive fun, but the relaxed and sociable atmosphere residents enjoy every day.

Guests explored beautifully curated stalls showcasing hand-crafted gifts and festive displays, before settling into the bar for mulled wine, mince pies and plenty of relaxed conversation.

Children enjoyed a magical ‘Letter to Father Christmas’ station, where they posted wishes and got creative with Christmas crafts. Outside, visitors were tempted by the irresistible aroma of sourdough as The Pizza Portfolio truck served freshly made, authentic pizzas to delighted guests.

A moving moment came from resident Dorothy Knapp, who sold her own Christmas cards to raise funds for Marie Curie – a gesture that captured the spirit of kindness that defined the afternoon.

The fayre also hosted a charity raffle, raising £70.20 for Turn2us, which supports people experiencing financial insecurity. As part of Elizabeth Finn Homes – wholly owned by Turn2us – Eversfield was proud to champion the charity’s work.

Home Manager Josephine Gbadamosi said: “Our Christmas Fayre was a wonderful reminder of what life at Eversfield is all about – joy, friendship, meaningful activity and a real sense of belonging.
