Eversfield

The facility is very well maintained and the nursing staff are very attentive and provide exceptional care. However, according to my mother (a resident), the food leaves something to be desired. She says it is often cold when it arrives in her room and frequently has no taste. The shame is that she otherwise loves Eversfield but this food issue may cause her to move to another care home.

Mum is very happy at Eversfield and views it as her home now. She loves her room and the grounds but most of all the lovely care provided by all the staff - from the cleaners, carers, nurses, maintenance staff, entertainment staff, reception team, kitchen team, and the management team. Staff are very friendly and smiley to both residents and visitors which makes Eversfield a very welcoming 'home' environment.

The management, admin and maintenance teams are always welcoming as well as approachable and will cater for all needs.

My mum has been 'trialing' your care home for two weeks with a view to becoming a permanent resident soon. The welcome she has received from the staff and the way they all work together as a team is remarkable. Everyone is friendly and cheerful and I have noticed the compassion shown to residents by the staff - it is so lovely to witness. Unsuprisingly Mum has chosen to stay.

Mum recently had a spell in hospital and was so looking forward to getting back "home" to Eversfield and her room. She particularly mentioned looking forward to seeing her staff and resident friends. She was given a tremendous welcome back to the home with team members popping out to warmly greet her as she was transported back to her room. It's such a caring and nurturing environment in spite of the growth related staff continuity teething pains.

I recently visited Eversfield Care home as my uncle was in the home for a respite care. Let me just first start with on how clean the home was. How well the staff was greeting us when we came to the home and also how caring they were towards all the service users including my uncle. The manager was also very helpful and was there to listen to us. She was very professional and so was the staff. I also noticed they were going round providing ice lollies and cold drinks to everyone in the home during this hot weather. Honestly beautiful home and extremely clean. I fully recommend this home to anyone who's looking :)

I can say it feels like a true home away from home. The staff here are genuinely friendly and caring, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. Mary, the manager, brings a level of professionalism and warmth that is truly inspiring. She is often seen interacting with residents, making sure everyone feels comfortable and included. If you're looking for a loving and supportive environment for your loved ones, I can't recommend this place highly enough.

My sister and I have been so impressed by the are and attention given to Dad, especially as he is unwell. We are particularly grateful to the nursing staff who manage to be both incredibly professional and sympathetic at the same time. Dad is truly in capable hands.

She eats very little anyway so it is important she gets what it says on the sheet. I try and be there meal times to ensure it is current but obviously not sure what happens other days as Mum would not make a fuss.

My dad has been at Eversfield for 4 weeks now going in as a Respite Resident after suffering a stroke & being in hospital. I have been over whelmed with how caring they have been to my dad & knowing he is being looked after & is safe is such a relief. He continues to grow in confidence each day & feels so at home at Eversfield I am sure he will eventually become full time. I can not thank the staff enough for making him feel so welcome & to me when I visit it really is an amazing place.

My mum is staying in Eversfield for the second time this year for some respite care. From the minute she arrived she felt very welcome and I continue to be impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the variety and high quality of the food and the great range of activities. It has been wonderful to see my mum getting stronger each day and wanting to get involved with the activities. The home has a lovely atmosphere, everyone is very approachable and willing to help. Her friends have loved being able to visit and feel welcomed there. It's a huge relief to me that she is so safe, happy and well-cared for, thank you all.

I particularly appreciated the professional handling of my medication, which I had felt too tired to deal with on arrival. Any call during the night was answered quickly, and I enjoyed the activities and the friendly, homely atmosphere. With grass and daffodils to look at was such a welcome. I was happy and impressed.

Kind helpful staff with genuine concern for wellbeing of residents. Excellent food, well presented. Spotlessly clean site.

Up to par with five star hotel.

Mum has now been with the lovely Eversfield team a month now and is starting to settle down, I visit her daily to help with the settling in and have become familiar with most of the staff, the Manager Josephine has been amazing, the chef Glen has accommodated mum's fussy eating, Kate has been amazing too, mum is settling with the help of the activities team, and the lovely carers, Joseph, Sally and Mary are some of the many wonderful team, Tara is so very helpful and has helped me so much, thank you all for taking good care of mum so far

Comments are made as an occasional visitor, so based on limited exposure to the home. All staff encountered or dealt with have been very friendly, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. In particular I have been impressed by how accommodating and flexible the home has been in connection with a pre-Christmas party for my mother; the food for which was also excellent in quality and quantity.

I am enjoying myself living here. Lovely people and I really like the food. I am very happy here.

My stay has been very satisfactory.

My visitors were made most welcome too and appreciated their coffee and biscuits in the lovely conservatory. My wife could relax knowing I was being looked after so well.

My mother was admitted on Monday, 10th November. From the admission day, the home were so welcoming, we were offered a meal with mum, and the food was delicious and very well presented. Mum's room is beautiful with an en-suite and garden view. Staff are always smiling, and the care is excellent. The home manager met us and answered all of our questions. She did not rush us and was very informative. It is a lovely home.
