Very comfortable and friendly place to live. A good choice of rooms of varying sizes. Plenty of activities for residents. Staff are kind and caring and family and visitors are welcome. I would recommend Eversfield if you are looking for somewhere homely.

The overall experience is good. One thing I would pick up on is access to the home, it would be really helpful if relatives could have a key or access code to the home. There have been a number of times we've had to wait on the cold porch at weekends or after reception has gone home.

A beautiful home staffed by a team of caring assistants on a day-to-day basis. My father has recently become a resident and settled quickly because of their care and patience. The home is a calm and well-appointed place with daily activities for those who wish to remain active and participate. My family
is delighted we found this home for my father.

Mum has been a resident for about nine years, and dad joined her there nearly two years ago. Being residents has meant that they can be together, something that would not be possible if they were trying to remain in the family home. They both get the care they need in a supportive and caring environment,
which reduces the work for the rest of the family.

The whole atmosphere of Eversfield is that of a highly professional but very friendly care home which is reflected in the standard of care for the residents and visitors alike. The facilities and cleanliness are first-rate with outstanding staff who really do care about the residents and visiting families.
Excellent communication to the principal carer so you are always assured of your loved one's wellbeing. Excellently managed during the pandemic with well-delivered measures to safeguard residents, staff, and visitors alike. Access to visitors under a well-designed and controlled arrangement was outstanding. In summary, I can thoroughly recommend Eversfield.

I always find the staff welcoming and caring. What I most appreciate is that when I visit or call they all obviously know my mother and who she is and how she is. This is all staff, the clinical, administration staff, and those organising activities. This means a lot to our family and we can feel it's
her home, as she does.

There is always someone to park, but everyone is always so polite. Every week I'm given coffee and gorgeous cake. The staff are always great and very helpful. I will highly recommend.

Outstanding new receptionist and manager. Nothing was too much trouble, and I could tell the friend I was visiting was well looked after and safe. A well-organised visit from start to finish. A very pleasant experience.

My mother has been a resident for four years and has been very happy at Eversfield, having a lovely room and great staff who care for her very well. The home has been exceptional in preventing covid infection even though the current intercom/screen makes conversations difficult. I am hoping that my
mother and I can see each other in her room when we've both had our second vaccination and more than one constant visitor will be allowed as my sister has not seen mum for about a year, except one visit when things were relaxed.

My mother has enjoyed a lovely bright room with access to the garden at Eversfield for several years. The staff have always been friendly and caring. The last year has been a struggle for everyone but the team at Eversfield has risen to the challenge. Unlike many homes, I was able to visit my mother
throughout 2020 on a 'by appointment' basis. As the Covid situation deteriorated Eversfield stayed ahead of the game. They now have a dedicated Covid safe visiting room and all visitors must pass a test before being allowed entry. So far it is to the great credit of all concerned that Eversfield has remained Covid free. The staff have remained remarkably cheerful in very difficult circumstances. If you are looking for a friendly home for a loved one, do look at Eversfield.

Such lovely and kind care given to my mother during her extended respite stay at Eversfield. She was overwhelmed by the kindness and gentleness of every member of staff. I have no expereince of care homes fo it is difficult for me to say whether the management or the overall standard of care were good.
Bedrooms varied, lunch was good but supper less so, as was the service.
Overall, it was a cheerful place and I spent three weeks there very happily.

A very friendly and helpful care home. Comfortable, I may bring some of my own furniture and pictures - so that it looks more like my own home. The garden is well looked after and used a lot in the summer.

Although Mother was quite austere, the Eversfield staff took that in their stride and cared wonderfully for her over her 3 years stay. Unusually Mother hardly made any complaints to us. In fact she was full of praise for those who particularly cared for her. She really thought of Eversfield as 'home.'
In fact we believe she had been happier in these three years than at any time since her husband died in 2001. Eversfield is well refurbished and appointed, has a varied and good menu for meals and puts on various activities on a routine and special basis. A lovely place to be if a residential home is required

Josephine

Josephine Gbadamosi

Job Title: General Manager Joined: 2025

With over 40 years of experience in social care, Josephine began her career as a Support Worker for young adults going on to manage mental health and dementia care homes before specialising in leading residential and nursing homes for older adults, a role she describes as her true calling.
Now leading the team at Eversfield, Josephine is particularly excited about the new nursing wing, which opened at the end of 2024. This state-of-the-art addition has been designed to meet the changing needs of local people and ensure Eversfield continues to be a vibrant, welcoming home for residents and families alike. Her expertise in care leadership and marketing will be instrumental in promoting the home and ensuring its ongoing success and community presence.
Josephine studied Management and Marketing at Metropolitan University and is also a qualified NVQ Assessor in Health and Social Care.
Josephine looks forward to continuing to build upon Eversfield’s local reputation saying that she intends to give 100% to the care, leadership, and future of Eversfield Care Home
