New Year’s Eve Celebrations: Ending 2025 Together

As 2025 came to a close, we wanted to mark the moment properly. Not just by welcoming a new year, but by recognising the people who made the last one what it was. Across Westgate Healthcare, New Year’s Eve became a shared opportunity to reflect, celebrate, and thank our staff, residents, families and the many businesses who continue to support our homes.

Each home celebrated in its own way, but the feeling was the same throughout: togetherness and gratitude.

Chestnut Manor At Chestnut Manor, a live singer brought energy to the celebrations. They got residents up dancing and singing along – and our staff were more than happy to join in too. The atmosphere was lively and inclusive, showing just how much joy shared experiences can bring.

Byron House Care Home At Byron House, residents and staff came together for a daytime celebration. A fun-filled countdown led up to a special 12pm lunch, where good food, music and a celebratory cheers set the tone for the afternoon. It was a relaxed and happy way to welcome 2026, with shared moments that felt meaningful.

Burford House Care Home Burford House marked the New Year with a party for both residents and staff, celebrating the place they call home. The focus was on looking ahead, continuing to make each day count for residents, their families and the wider Burford community.

Riverdale Care Home Riverdale welcomed the New Year with microphones at the ready and spirits high. The afternoon was filled with a New Year’s Eve karaoke party, complete with Buck’s Fizz, plenty of laughter and a few intentionally out-of-tune performances. From a sing-along to a countdown, it was a light-hearted way to end the year.

As we step into 2026, we want to thank everyone who played a part in Westgate Healthcare over the past year. From our dedicated teams and residents to families, friends and partners, your support and commitment shape everything we do.
