We moved our mother to St Pauls from another local care home, as we had become very dissatisfied with the poor care she was receiving. From day one, the staff at St Pauls have been kind, professional, caring and extremely friendly.
The place is so clean, and our mothers' needs are attended to with
the highest standard. We have been extremely pleased with St Pauls with not one small complaint. We can feel assured that at all times our mother is being cared for, as we would care for her if we could.

However given the limited number of residents currently, it is not possible to optimising the potential of the home which will be achieved, when more residents arrive. We was so happy with my husband's care while he was at Westgate. Each and every member of staff whatever their status showed care and empathy. Physio was very good and the team interactions were made fun while at the same time beneficial to my husband. Tessa on reception and the young lady at weekends

Lovely clean room includes private toilet/wash facilities. Seating for visitors. Kind staff who do not complain when you press the alarm for assistance. Downside when busy periods are inevitable for fast response. Hospital air beds uncomfortable in the point of becoming painful. All chairs too low for
taller people. Excellent physio equipment and physiotherapist, hairdresser and allowed to have a short trip out to access needed services. Personal body cleaning done with respect by both male and female carers. Can leave things no fear of being taken. Well managed clothes washing.

Meadowhill is a brand new purpose-built care home, and it's clear everything has been very well thought out & planned for. Our Grandma has now been a resident here for 3 months, and it's such a relief to know she's being so well cared for. The accommodation & facilities are wonderful & the catering
by the in-house chef is amazing! We were lucky enough to enjoy a meal here recently and it's clear to see why our Grandma is finally enjoying & actually looking forward to meals again. We're also delighted to see how much she seems to be enjoying the various activities available. All the staff we've met - administrators, carers, nurses & ancillary staff - have been helpful, caring and thoroughly professional, and have been a huge comfort to us as a family in what has been a difficult time. We're truly grateful that our Grandma now has a permanent home at Meadowhill & wouldn't hesitate to recommend their exceptional home to anyone in need of residential, dementia &/or nursing care.

I came to Westgate House for rehabilitation after an operation to repair two broken bones in my ankle. During these eight weeks, my every need has been catered for with only one or two exceptions. I have been treated with great kindness and sympathy; the staff working efficiently and professionally

My 96 year old mother had a stroke. Prior to this she was active and sociable. Afterwards she was anxious, impatient and depressed. The first and second nursing homes asked her to leave as her behaviour was unbecoming. She ended up at St Pauls floor 1. Amazing, is all I can say. Staff are everywhere,
they appear out of nowhere. Their empathy for their residents is astonishing. They look at who the person was, not is. No loneliness on floor 1.

Following on from a hospital stay my mum needed frequent nursing care which couldn't be adequately delivered at home. She decided that the best solution would be to move to a nursing home where she could receive care until she was well enough to go home. As a result of an excellent personal recommendation
we chose the Hampden Hall Care Centre.
The recommendations we had received turned out to be completely accurate. Mum received exemplary care at Hampden Hall. Every member of staff was kind, communicative and attentive and the facilities second to none. The nursing care was excellent and within a short space of time my mum decided that she felt so much safer as a resident that she decided to remain there permanently.
She enjoyed the many social activities that were arranged by the team and the interaction with other residents as well as having the peace and quiet of her own room with full en-suite shower room facilities.
We can't recommend Hampden Hall enough.

Just wanted to say that St Paul's Care Home have been fantastic with the care afforded to our mum, during her time in the home. In particular the staff on the first floor have been exceptional in the support given not just to mum, but the wider family. They have been considerate, respectful, compassionate,
sympathetic and empathetic.
The engagement of the activities team, meant there was always a lot going on, which gave the floor a really good feeling.
The facility is modern, very clean and well thought out. Mum's room was spacious with a nice outlook.
This was a very difficult time for the family, but the care mum and we received could not be faulted.

The decision to have our dad taken into care wasn't an easy decision and was taken out of our hands due to personal circumstances. Our dad has now been a resident at Hampden Hall for over a year and he has settled in very well, at the first he tried to escape a couple of times, soon caught and back
to his room. The staff and everyone at Hampden are very helpful, polite and do so much for all the residents not just my dad. He has been made very welcome which is lovely to see and hear especially as my sister and myself cannot visit on a regular basis as we both live so far away. Thank you to the team that has helped us to have a video call meeting every week with our dad, it helps us to see that he is keeping well and so well looked after by everyone. Special thanks to the staff on Pine Unit its nice to see him happy and smiling again in everything you do for him we really appreciate it.

My wife has now been at the care home for about 6 months and is fully settled in. I was invited to a Country and Western Musical, BBQ and ice cream event at the care home. Really not my scene, however, my wife is very musical. I went and was immediately impressed with the fantastic organisation that
had obviously gone into the planning. The music, BBQ and the tattoo painting lady. The star for me was the maintenance man, normally rushing around with a screwdriver in his hand, fully dressed up as Woody from Toy Story. A really memorable day. I wish to thank everyone for the excellent planning for a most enjoyable day.
