I stayed in St. Paul's after an accident and 3 weeks in hospital. When I arrived I had extremely limited, only walking a short distance using a walking frame. I had neither the confidence or the ability to do much at all.
After 8 weeks I was transformed. Care of the highest standard to cater for my every need both physically and emotionally. My clothes were washed and returned in a few hours. My room was thoroughly cleaned every morning. There were multiple activities if you so wished,. The meals were excellent and brought to my room 3 times a day, the facilities were of the highest standard and I had physio 3 times a week with Jagdish who was caring talented and improved me physically and emotionally beyond recognition.

By far the most important aspect for me was the constant support of the carers. They treated me with dignity and and always had a listening ear. This was particularly important as I had lost my husband recently. They will remain in my heart forever, Thank you

St Paul's cared for my mother in the latter stages of her Alzheimer's disease.
Having cared for her at home as a family for many years beforehand, it was a big decision to hand over this responsibility to the team.
We need not have worried: the level of care at St Paul's meant that in my mums final years she was cared for with dignity, respect and compassion .
The team made a real effort not only to get to know Mum and who she was, but our family too , meaning whenever we visited this kindness and warmth was extended to us.
Their support and care of us all in Mum's
final days made her passing a much more bearable experience.

Thank you

In August 2024 Dad had a fall at home and was admitted to hospital where he then developed sepsis however somehow he got through but it was decided due to other health issues that were incurable he was to receive palliative care.

After selecting St Paul's on recommendation he became a resident there, and straight away within a day or so they had him looking clean and gave him a much wanted shave as Dad always shaved every day.

The excellent care and attention given to Dad bought him and us another 18 months after being told we had 3 months so thank you to the nurses, carers, chefs, cleaners, entertainers and the managers for giving us that.

My family have all said that we are putting down our names to go here if ever we require care.

They made us and Dad feel like a member of a big family.

St Pauls Care Centre is a wonderful care home. The staff are amazing my grandfather Mr Manubhai was on the Windsor unit room T12 for his final days. He was treated with such love, care and kindness. Nurse Smita was especially compassionate and supportive. I will always be grateful to all the team at the care home for ensuring my grandad who passed away on the 19 December passed with dignity and respect. THANK YOU does not feel like enough.
