I would like to thank all the staff at Westgate House Ware for a lovely stay. I wouldn't have been able to go home from the hospital, they were thoughtful and kind as I was not in a very good state of mind and body, and I will keep doing the exercises. Thank you.

Since being here I have found that staff are friendly and do anything to help. Communication is very good. Carol feels all staff listen to what she is saying which means a lot. Loves having her hair done which she enjoys. Overall very pleased she is here

Knowing my friend for twenty-two years his partner my best friend passed in January. I have taken charge of his finances, his accommodation at Westgate is very good. As he has had a stroke, he cannot eat, join in activities. Overall everything is satisfactory.

My mother spent 19 days at Westgate House Care Centre and it was a really positive experience after a fall. The staff were professional and attentive. My mother also gained back a significant amount of movement in her arm and she started to regain some confidence with their support. Thank you

The home is an exceptional nursing home. It goes way beyond any service, providing warm caring and nothing is too much for them. All the staff are warm, welcoming and are loving toward my Sister. Food is very good but the wonderful Staff make you feel your loved one is in the best possible place to be in - I am very grateful to Kingfisher for the amazing care they provide every day - Thank you.

My Husband was placed in the Kingfisher Nursing Home, from Hospital in need of nursing care, which, sadly, became End of Life Care. The Home had not been chosen by me, but had we done so we could not have chosen a better place for him to be. The whole staff and people associated with the care at the Home could not have been more caring, compassionate, kind and professional, from the Manager, Emilia, through all who work at the Home. My family and I were impressed by the compassionate ethos of the home, from the moment they welcomed my Husband into their care. My Husband was always afraid of losing his dignity in care, but at the Kingfisher, treating him with respect and preserving his dignity as a human being was a priority for all who came into contact with him. Whatever his needs were, and whether or not he was fully aware of what was happening to him, he was always addressed by all staff with respect and courtesy, which meant a great deal to him and to us.

Mum is now confident to move onto the next place and continue to build on the good work started at Westgate. Thank you to all the staff including catering ( Mum likes her food), housekeeping, nursing, OT, admin and management.

Mum transferred here for end of life care from hospital. She was only to live for 9 hours from arrival. Her caregiver and love shown was truly all I could have hoped for. I was so, so glad she was able to be here. All the staff looked after her, me and my family so kindly and compassionately.

All the family were extremely grateful for the level of care given to my Father-in-law as he reached the end of his life. The whole team were kind and courteous and also very professional. He was extremely well cared for to the best of the staffs' ability. They were also very attentive to the family and did all they could to comfort us at this difficult time, with an endless supply of tea and bisuits.

Ever since Mum has been in Burford House she has been very well cared for. She has a lovely room which is kept clean and meals are delicious and appropriate. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and it feels like a happy place to be. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
