Singing our Winter Blues Away

This afternoon at Pittsmead Grange, our home was filled with smiles, uplifting music & delicious hot chocolate as residents enjoyed a wonderful sing-along with some well-loved old tunes.

In our cosy bistro, many familiar melodies sparked memories, toe-tapping, and heartfelt singing. It was lovely to see everyone joining in, reminiscing, and sharing such a lovely moments together.

Singing is especially beneficial for older people, helping to boost mood on these cold winter afternoons - it supports memory, encourage breathing, and promote a sense of connection and wellbeing and our residents and team (Sophie on the tambourine) enjoyed every minute!
