I cannot speak highly enough of the care that my husband is receiving from every member of staff. Every area of his needs are so well taken care of. He is relaxed and happy and feels very safe. I have enjoyed an excellent lunch with him in lovely surroundings. Thank you to everyone.

Mother was very nervous at first.
She soon settled in with the wonderful care she received while she was there.
The entertainment was good.
She lived having her hair done in the in-house hairdresser. Also what a lovely bath they gave
Gave her.
Will be using this care home again.

My mother was very reluctant to move to a care home but life at home was becoming impossible. After a couple of days, she started to settle in, with much encouragement from the lovely staff at Barchester Pittsmead Grange Care Home.
Everything was taken at her pace, she joins in meal times and activities
when she can and stays in her room when not feeling up to it. She is very comfortable in her stylish room!
She has had swift transfer of medical attention from day one, which is very reassuring.
The atmosphere of the home and the attentive and caring staff give great peace of mind.
I would thoroughly recommend Pittsmead to anyone thinking of moving in for respite or on a more permanent basis.

Very pleased with everything, staff and management are excellent, pleasant and helpful in everything. The building is very distinctive and attractive. Most people here really love it. Very well planned. Food and drink are very varied and top-notch - I enjoy a lovely glass of wine with my meal - all
the little touches make a difference. A lovely birthday party and cake. Everything is spotless - linen is pristine. Glasses are sparkling like diamonds. Everyone is helpful and suggests if you need help!

My mum was anxious about attending for 2 week respite but in her words she had a wonderful time, the staff are very caring and the food is very nice. She is subsequently staying for a 3rd week with a view to becoming a permanent resident in due course.
From my perspective her progress has been excellent
and whilst living in her own flat may be deemed as remaining independent, she definitely has a better quality of life at Barchester Pittsmead Grange Care Home.

My dad has been at Pittsmead Grange for just over 2 months and has settled in so well. The home is modern, clean, warm and luxurious. The rooms are spacious and those on the ground floor lead onto the lovely garden. There is a cafe area where you can sit with your relatives and there are always hot
drinks and delicious cake. The staff are really friendly, professional and caring. I couldn't be happier with the care my dad is receiving and would recommend this care home to anyone else considering care for their relative.

My dad stayed at this care home for four weeks and we were so pleased we chose this home for him. The care staff are excellent, always cheerful and attentive - nothing is too much trouble. They made my dad feel at ease from the moment he arrived. I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for
somewhere for their relative. The rooms are spacious and have a very comfortable and homely feel about them with excellent facilities.

My mum and dad are here for respite as their home is damaged with water and builders need to get in and do the work. They have been in for two weeks now and maybe two more weeks.
So it was the first time in eight weeks I'd seen them, as I live overseas and work all over Europe!
My first impressions
were how lovely the staff are and helpful. Mum was out on a trip and Dad watching TV as he didn't want to and having a bit of a snooze. They didn't know I was coming, so big surprise for them, The staff made food so we could eat all together as I was with my sister. The food was fantastic, I could see them looking so youthful with smiles back into their faces and Mum with a spring back in herself as she came back from your trip telling all about her day! My sister told me that Dad was a bit reserved at first but now in very good spirits, looking better in himself. Thank you all so much for giving my parents a bit of life back!

Although this is the very first experience of any form of a care home, Mum and Dad have only been here for just over a week and it has truly been wonderful, not only for them but us also.
First impressions of all the staff were and continue to be kind caring, friendly but above all, professional.
The
team is run by a brilliant, friendly management team which passes onto each and every member of staff and they all go above and beyond with their care and kindness. The food is five-star too.
As their daughter. I can't think of anywhere else I would want my parents to be. Thank you Barchester Pittsmead Grange Care Home for all you do.

Dad has been here for a couple of months now and has settled in really well.
The facilities are excellent, especially as everything is brand-new but the best bit about the place is the staff. They are so friendly and welcoming and look after Dad really well.
So much so, we can already see improvements

Respite for my husband at Barchester Pittsmead Grange Care Home was a first experience of respite for him and of course, for me.
The experience for both of us was a positive one. So much so, I have booked another respite for my husband later in the year. As this care home is very new, my husband was
one of only nine residents - I do hope the high standard of care etc. is maintained when the care home is filled to capacity.

I have worked for Barchester since September 2020, having worked in Health & Social Care since 2005 I soon found my passion for senior care, learning and training. In a relatively short time, I studied for my Level 5 Leadership & Management Diploma, Level 3 Palliative & End of Life Care and Bradford University Dementia Mapping. I am excited to be part of the team at Pittsmead Grange, they are caring and they are really keen to learn new skills, it’s great to be a part of that.
