Millcroft Care Home welcomes local community to Chatty Café

HC-One’s Millcroft Care Home in Redditch is inviting members of the local community to come together for its weekly Chatty Café, a friendly and relaxed social gathering designed to bring people closer, reduce loneliness and create meaningful connections.

Taking place every Wednesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm, the Chatty Café is held in Millcroft’s welcoming and beautifully designed café room. The weekly event offers a comfortable and informal setting where people can catch up with old friends, meet new faces and enjoy a sense of community.

Visitors to the Chatty Café are treated to a selection of delicious homemade cakes, along with a refreshing drink of their choice, making it the perfect mid-morning meet-up. Whether popping in for a quick chat or staying for the full session, everyone is encouraged to relax, socialise and feel at home.

The initiative reflects Millcroft Care Home’s ongoing commitment to supporting wellbeing, encouraging social interaction and strengthening relationships between residents and the wider Redditch community. By opening its doors each week, the home aims to create a welcoming space that is inclusive, friendly and accessible to all.
