Middletown Grange Care Home was honoured to welcome a very special visitor, as resident Ted received a personal visit from the most reverend Bernard Longley, who kindly spent time at the home.
During the visit, Archbishop Longley offered a blessing for the home and shared a moment of prayer with staff and residents. The occasion was calm and reflective, providing comfort and reassurance, and was particularly meaningful for Ted and those present.
Supporting residents to remain connected to their faith, beliefs, and wider community is an important part of life at Middletown Grange. Visits like this help residents feel respected, supported, and spiritually fulfilled in a way that is personal to them.
The team and residents were grateful for the Archbishop’s time and kindness, and the visit was warmly appreciated by everyone involved.
