As we age, maintaining physical activity becomes increasingly important for both physical and mental well-being. For elderly individual, regular exercise can help prevent mobility issues, reduce the risk of falls, and enhance overall quality of life. It’s not just about keeping the body moving; it’s about promoting independence, confidence, and vitality.
So, what a surprise in today’s morning relaxation class, when Babs Spear (Head of Physiotherapy) said, “A more voluminous tree trunk transmits greater vigour, longevity and stability, so ladies and gentlemen let’s strengthen our minds, bodies and souls.” To which Paula replied, “That is so true Babs, well said.”
The lounge was full of residents, smiling, stretching and being soothed by the peaceful music and calming voice of Babs instruction.
