APPLETREE GRANGE OPENS ITS DOORS TO PROMOTE HEALTHY HEARTS

A local Healthy Heart Event is set to take place at Appletree Grange in Birtley on Saturday 17th January 2026 , offering the community an opportunity to focus on heart health through gentle exercise, nutritious food, and healthy lifestyle choices.

The event will include accessible exercise classes, healthy and nutritious meals, and a selection of homemade heart-healthy smoothies, all designed to promote cardiovascular wellbeing in a supportive and welcoming environment. The imitative aims to rise awareness of the importance of maintain a healthy heart and demonstrate simple, enjoyable ways people can improve their wellbeing through movement and nutrtion.
