‘Dementia Friends’ awareness talk

Residents enjoyed a ‘Dementia Friends’ awareness talk, hosted by Cathy O’Brien, Education Team Lead at Hospice Education. This was aimed at informing residents about communicating with people living with dementia as well as raising awareness for the different approaches and techniques they could use.

Residents were really engaged throughout the morning, and they reported back that they found the session informative and helpful.
