A Small Dream with a Huge Impact

Cliff is one of our lovely residents who lives on the Ty Lliw Community. He never asks for much and is always smiling, happy and most importantly kind to others. Cliff’s daughter lives across the pond in America and visits as often as she can. Her wish was to take her Dad back to his roots in Neath, to reminisce about the place he has lived all his life and reconnect with familiar memories. Cliff, his daughter, and Marie from Activities went to the Welsh House for a meal. Cliff enjoyed faggots and chips, followed by a Knickerbocker Glory. Afterwards, they walked around the town, passing the famous market and even Cliff’s old barber. This meaningful trip gave Cliff the opportunity to reconnect with his past and most importantly, to spend quality time with his daughter, supporting that special family connection.
