Home Host's Community Wellbeing Event

The Braeburn Lodge care home, in the Deepings, hosted a special wellbeing event on Tuesday 4th February, the home welcomed Nicola Brett from Active Recovery Therapy as guest speaker as she spoke to the community about 'the effects of aging on the body and mind and how we can slow that down'.

The home was also joined by members from the local Women’s Institute, The Deepings Bowling Association, Specsavers and the Editor of ‘I’d Rather Be in Deeping’ town magazine.

Residents and guests enjoyed an uplifting session with Nicola, who shared practical tips for boosting wellbeing and maintaining a positive mindset. Attendees were treated to healthy snacks and freshly made smoothies, adding a nutritious twist to the morning event.

Braeburn Lodge has built up an excellent reputation within its local community. The home regularly organises events and activities for residents and neighbours, helping to strengthen community connections and support overall wellbeing.
