The Hickathrift House Care Home, in the Marshlands, Wisbech, hosted a special wellbeing event on Thursday 19th February, the home welcomed guest speaker Debbie Myring, Debbie is a local wellness speaker and yoga instructor. Debbie spoke to guests and residents about how we can better support ourselves and look after our own wellbeing during a fascinating discussion.
Residents and guests enjoyed an uplifting session with Debbie, who shared practical tips for boosting wellbeing and maintaining a positive mindset. Debbie was also joined by Charlie Wagg from Tropic Beauty who offered free hand massages to visiting guests, including a group from the Emneth Over 60s Friendship Club.
Hickathrift House Care Home has built up an excellent reputation within its local community. The home regularly organises events and activities for residents and neighbours, helping to strengthen community connections and support overall wellbeing.
“This afternoon was all about supporting wellbeing and giving our residents the chance to enjoy something refreshing and inspiring.
