It's Mother's Day - Anyone for Afternoon Tea?

Daughters, family, friends and even dogs, joined their loved ones to celebrate Mother's Day at Crandon Springs Care Home, with a lovely afternoon tea served in the home's delightful café.

Guests enjoyed a delicious spread of prawn, cucumber, cheese and ham sandwiches, followed by sweet treats including scones with jam and cream, Biscoff swirls, pinwheels and brownies. Everything was freshly baked and prepared by the Crandon Springs in-house chefs, and served by the Hospitality and Activities Teams.

Resident Barbara summed up the afternoon perfectly, saying it was "wonderful food and good company", sentiments shared by Kath from the Crandon Springs Activities Team, who said, "I couldn't agree more, it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying a special time together."
