The staff laid up a table for us in a separate room and we had a delicious lunch - Mum felt she had been out to a restaurant! The staff are always very helpful and accommodating and we feel Mum is really well looked after there.

My friend chose Crandon Springs for respite care and I am so glad she did. The staff have been very supportive, helpful, friendly and accommodating. My friend is well cared for and I haven't seen her look as well and happy for at least 2 years. Since staying at Crandon Springs the staff have brought such a positive change to my friend which is a relief to see having been concerned for her wellbeing for some time. I cannot praise the staff too highly. The home is thoughtfully decorated, has a calming atmosphere and is very clean. As a short term respite care option Crandon Springs worked out brilliantly for us. My mum settled swiftly and was well cared throughout. When she inevitablly needs to move into care more permanently, Cradon will be our only consideration.

The staff rang several times to ensure her needs would be met which gave me reassurance! Mum enjoyed chatting to some residents and staff were all very nice. Because she needed help as her mobility has declined she said it was 'waiting' she found frustrating and she prefers her own bed. Food could be hotter.

I am absolutely delighted to have my friend in the care of Crandon Springs Care Home. She seems to be having a great time with the numerous musical afternoons, singing and dancing and generally mixing well with other Residents. The Activities team do a fantastic job integrating the Residents so that they mix well and are kept busy whilst still having one-to-one sessions to make them feel individual. Also, the day trips out to Garden Centres and country walks take advantage of the lovely Somerset countryside as well as trips into Wells itself. When I visit, everyone makes me feel so welcome and cannot do enough to support us. It is just like an extended family. Thank you for all you do.
